How far are the airports from the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront?
Our hotel is approximately 19 miles (35 minutes) from Norfolk International Airport and 43 miles (1 hour) from Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport.
Do you have an indoor and outdoor pool?
Yes. We have an indoor and outdoor pool located on the 21st floor.
What time do the pools close?
The pools close at 9pm.
Do you have a restaurant at the top of your hotel?
No, just our Sky Bar. However, we do have two restaurants located on our 1st floor. Catch 31 is our seafood restaurant and Salacia is our steakhouse.
Do you have a gift shop?
Yes, conveniently located in the 31Ocean shops directly across Atlantic Avenue from the hotel.
What time does your restaurant close?
Catch 31 closes at 2 a.m. with last call at 1:30 a.m. and Salacia closes at 10 p.m. Catch 31 stops serving dinner at 10 p.m.
Can I make a reservation in Catch 31?
Yes, during our off season we can take reservations. Please dial 5160. During the summer, Catch 31 does not accept reservations with the exception of our Empyrean Club Guests.
What time is breakfast in your restaurant?
Catch 31 is open for breakfast Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m.-11 a.m., and 7 a.m.-11 a.m. on the weekends.
How much is your breakfast buffet in Catch 31?
$17.95 per person.
Do you offer continental breakfast in your hotel?
Only if you are staying on the Empyrean Club level. There is a daily continental breakfast offered in our private Empyrean Lounge. Although coffee, tea and soft drinks are complimentary, alcoholic drinks are available for an additional charge.
Can I go to Sky Bar?
Yes, all overnight Guests who are at least 21 years of age have access to Sky Bar in season. Memberships may be purchased in Catch 31 for non-Guests. Sky Bar is open May to October from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and Sunday from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
What is the difference between ocean view and oceanfront?
Ocean view is on the north or south side of building, with a balcony and an unobstructed view of the ocean. Oceanfront rooms face east and have a balcony that overlooks the Atlantic.
Do you offer Government and Military rates?
Yes, based on availability, per diem rates are offered year-round.
How many square feet are your rooms?
A minimum of 369 square feet.
How can I pay for another person’s room?
Our in-house reservations department or Front Desk can assist you with that. You need to fill out a credit card authorization form and attach a copy of your card and picture ID.
Do refrigerators and microwaves come in the rooms?
We have refrigerators in every room and microwaves available upon request for $10 a night.
Do you have room service?
Yes, served from 6 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.
How old do you have to be to check-in?
Our company policy requires a registered Guest in the room be at least 21 years of age. If at least one Guest on the reservation is not at least 21 years of age upon check-in, our Front Desk can cancel the reservation and refund any deposit that has been made for the room, with the exception of third party sites.
Do you accept pets?
Unfortunately, no, we do not permit pets except service animals.
Can I get an early check-in or a late check-out?
Early check-ins and late check-outs are upon availability. We do our best to accommodate all Guests’ requests but we cannot guarantee anything especially on heavy departure and arrival dates. If we are not able to accommodate your request, we are always happy to store your luggage and give you access to all hotel amenities until your room becomes available for check in.
How can I get from Norfolk International airport to the hotel?
Take Norview Ave. to I-64 E. Take exit 284A to merge onto I-264 E toward Virginia Beach. Take the exit US-58 E/Laskin Rd. Keep left at the fork to stay on Laskin Rd. Turn right on Atlantic Ave and our hotel is directly on your left.
Do you have free shuttle?
Yes, on a space available basis we offer complimentary local area transportation within 3 miles.
Where do I park?
Valet parking is available at $16 per night or self-parking is offered for $10 per night in the adjacent city parking lot, connected to the hotel via covered sky bridge.
How can I get from the hotel to the closest mall?
Lynnhaven Mall is the closest mall and is 13 minutes from our hotel. Head north on Atlantic Ave. toward Laskin Rd. Turn left on Laskin Rd. Take first left onto Pacific Ave. Turn right onto 22nd St. Continue onto I-264 W. Take exit 19A for Lynnhaven Pkwy. S. Merge onto Lynnhaven Pkwy. Turn right onto International Pkwy. See Bellman for assistance with taxi service.
Does your hotel supply wheel chairs and strollers?
No, however, our Front Desk would be happy to help you make rental arrangements with a local vendor.
Can I have pre-arranged flowers or an amenity delivered to a Guest?
Yes, Reservations or the Front Desk would be happy to assist you.
Do you have bike racks?
Yes. Our bike racks are for public use and are located near the valet exit and near the public restaurants near 30th street. Please note that we are not responsible for any theft or damage.
How do I make reservations for the spa?
You can make your reservations directly with Salon 31 by calling (757) 233-2631. More information can be found on their website: www.salon31st.com.
Is there washer/dryer accessibility within your hotel?
No, but we do offer a dry-cleaning/laundry service that is available Monday - Friday.
